Ive just found this awesome game on the internet called Mechquest where you are a Mecha pilot who goes about doing quests, getting credits, fighting the Shadowscythe(the enimies in the game),collecting mechs, items and other collectables, getting a job being promoted and passing GEARS University,

The sound effects are amazing as well as the awesome visuals and the smooth gameplay make it a dreamgame
